SIGHTS and ATTRACTIONS:
Dugi otok is the longest island in Zadar archipelago. The name means Long island and it is 43 km long and just 4 km wide at its narrowest point.
Sali is the administrative and municipal center of Dugi otok. It is the most inhabited village and a place with long fishing tradition. Many olive trees in Sali are 700 years old. It has official “Lazy spot” located at the end of village. You can sit down at the marked spot an spend your time watching people pass by and do nothing, as the name says itself.

Your skipper will welcome you at the port in Sukošan in front of gas station at 10:00 am. From there you will cruise towards Dugi otok. You will pass under 18 m high bridge that connects two islands in Zadar’s archipelago – Ugljan and Pašman. From there you will go further along the west coast of Ugljan island and you will stop in Sabuša beach. This sandy beach is situated on uninhabited and somehow isolated side of island and it is perfect getaway from crowds. Swim in warm and shallow waters in sandy bay surrounded by pine woods.
After short pause in Sabuša you will continue to Dugi otok. Around 12:00 you will arrive to Sali village and you will have some free time until 15:00.
In Sali you can swim and snorkel in transparent sea. Later, around 13:00 you can go to nearby restaurant to have lunch. It is recommended to try Croatian cuisine, fish or meat platters and to taste local wine.
If you are into exploring, you can take a walk around the village. Sali has a thousand year old fishing tradition and culture. You can visit its parish church with wooden altar from the 17th century and Glagolitic transcriptions. If you are lucky you can even spot musicians performing “Tovareća mužika” or Donkey music. Locals are dressed in a traditional fishing clothes and they go through the village playing simple, rhythmic melody performed on various kinds of drums and old irons filled with pebbles.
In the center you can find the official “Lazy spot” where you can sit and relax by doing nothing.
Around 17:00 you will depart from Sali and return to Sukošan Marina.
At 18:00 you will return to the boarding dock in Sukošan and this tour ends.
